Community is Everything

    Community Service

    Team Up helps local organizations find “people power” through AmeriCorps placement to strengthen existing programs or create new ones. We also connect willing and skilled volunteers with the organizations that need them through connectswco.org.

Community Collaboration Coordinator

This is a unique position that works across sectors with high levels of community engagement to address some of the most pressing challenges in the community. We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented person to fill this role and to help drive Team Up's collaborative work forward in Montezuma and Dolores Counties. 

Location: Montezuma County

Position type: Hourly, $27-28/hr, DOE

Youth Engagement Liaison

The Engagement Liaison plays a key role in empowering young people to actively participate in shaping efforts to design regional youth mental health and substance use prevention efforts across Southwest Colorado. This position builds authentic relationships with youth and community partners to gather youth voice, co-create strategies, and translate youth-identified priorities into coordinated, cross-sector action.

Location: Montezuma or La Plata County County

Position type: 32 hours / week, $25-27/hour depending on experience.

    Every Saturday starting on December 6th, 2025, a rotating weekly venue will be open to allow Cortez area teens to relax and unwind after a long week, connect with friends and meet new people in a casual setting.

    Enjoy discounted full-day lift tickets each January on Team Up Day at Wolf Creek Ski Area, home of the “most snow in Colorado.” A portion of the day’s ticket sales goes to support Team Up initiatives in Southwest Colorado.

    Team Up Pickleball Day & Silent Auction

    Our first ever Team Up Pickleball Day was a hit! In June 2025, dozens of beginner and skilled players brushed up on their pickleball prowess and competed for a good cause. Silent auction winners took home prizes ranging from Costa Rican rentals to truck loads of gravel. Stay tuned for details on Pickleball Day 2026.
